Thank god also for "sherpa's"... while in Nepal, they are the amazing guys (rarely female) that somehow billy-goat up the mountains caring all the stuff the rest of us (or me) are too week for. :) Also they never have the latest gear, they are almost barefoot, and wearing much less cold protection.
