MDS Nurse Full Time Flexible hours Come be part of some Exciting Changes! Stellar Care Group is seeking a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse to serve as MDS Nurse for our Sapphire Care and Rehabilitation Center in Columbus, Ohio (Formerly Arlington Court). In this role you will ensure the organization’s goals of positive outcomes in quality will be achieved through effective processes, monitoring training and implementations of systems that will lead to accurate and timely MDS submissions, utilization of Medicare nursing days when warranted, oversight of managed care residents, effective Center coordination through a well-run IDT Meeting and utilization of our PointClickCare system. Ensure MDS compliance, resident driven outcomes and financial results that mirror the care given. Ensure that the center remains in compliance with organization, local, state and federal regulations. Qualifications: Current Ohio RN or LPN License in good standing Previous MDS experience required. Working knowledge of regulatory compliance in a Long-Term Care Setting Previous experience with PointClickCare is a plus. Qualifications: Graduate of accredited school of nursing. Licensed as an LPN or RN in the state employed; license must be active, valid, and in good standing. Valid CPR teaching certificate preferred but not required. Must hold an active CPR license or the ability to obtain within the first 30-days of employment. CPR license must be kept active and current throughout employment. Three years of nursing experience, of which one year in a long-term care environment.
